Hmmm… Where do I start from?
I shall make this succinct.
Exactly 3 weeks ago, just 2 days after my #NTA Insight’s session on “Reviving #Ajaokuta Steel Mill”, I was notified by the Russian Embassy in #Abuja that I was being “blacklisted” and on “Red Alert” by Russia. Information given was that; the Russia’s Federal Security Service received “report” about my humble person and acting in defense, ordered that I should not to be permitted entry or dealings with Russia. At the Russian boarder, I was to be arrested. I fell sick instantly… I cried … but said God’s is in control.
Thankfully, the Russian embassy in Abuja took it upon themselves to make a case for me. They clarified with the head of security in Russia and all intelligence departments that it was all a mistake and that was not who I was accused of been but a simple law abiding citizen of #Nigeria advocating for the revival of Ajaokuta by TyazPromExport of Russia, the original builders for the economic good of Nigeria.
They tried to shut me down from fighting for Ajaokuta but couldn’t; so the other option was to shut Russia from me.
Today, by God’s grace and mercy, I WAS CLEARDED OF ALL ACCUSATIONS.
I am in tears as I write this. My heart knows limitless joy.
What manner of wickedness would cause a fellow man to write a defamatory report on another? For sake of control over Ajaokuta, a God given resource for everyone?Nigeria DOES NOT belong to a few!!!
If seeking economic justice for Ajaokuta makes me a terrorist – then so be it.
If seeking wealth creation opportunities for the common man is an offence – then so be it.
If working resiliently, as a good citizen of Nigeria to support our #government diversify our economy for the greater good makes me a criminal – so be it.
Dear friends, indeed there are monsters around us, and its ok to be afraid of them, but its NOT ok to let them win, and its NOT ok to be one.
Was I scared? YES!!! Am I going to give up? NO!!!
Have a good evening. I love you all.
